Fix login failures and authentication issues for saved SMB connections with version 8.0.6 of PlayerXtreme

We have noticed that some of our users as experiencing authentication issues when connecting to their saved SMB shares that used to work before.

Below are three methods you can use to fix the issue. Try them and see which one works for you.

Method 1: Restart the app by closing it from the background

If it doesn't work try a different method.

Method 2: Delete any old, saved shares 

After deleting, set up the share again with correct username and password and save it.

If it doesn't work, try a different method.

Method 3: Reset your SMB device, change the username and password and set up file sharing again. Make sure the SMB device is on the same network as your iPhone/iPad. After that delete the old share from the app and add it again with the correct credentials.
